Additional Information:  OK.....here we go. I have a 79 GMC 4x4 (LB). 1/2 Ton w/overloads, 2" lift. It has a 350, bored .030, 4BBL, Great condition 35" BF Goodrich Mud-terrains, Custom exhaust manifolds, dual 2 1/2 inch exhaust. Ravin Free-flow mufflers. New shocks, starter, pinion seal, cab mounts (urethane), wiper switch, windshield, new rear tinted-acrylic window, thermostat, plugs. Recent battery, cap and rotor, diff-flush.

The differentials (both), were replaced in 1996, with aftermarket diffs (the rear is 4:11 Posi, the front is 4:10 limited slip - or is it the other way around?). I have receipts for both diffs (totaling $8000.00). The 350 was rebuilt and bored out at the same time (fully rollerized). The transfer case was also rebuilt at that time (heavy-duty geared transfer case). Low KM's on the truck since.

I just spent the last 6 months restoring the body in my bosses garage. I put new box sides on, a new door (the other had already been replaced), the front fenders and hood were in great shape. The box was completely disassembled, sand-blasted, and every square inch rubber-armor coated (this includes up in-between the two halves of the panels). The doors were completely disassembled, and once again, totally rubber-armor coated inside and out. I bought and installed new front fender-wells (also fully rubber-coated - 3 THICK coats). I assembled the box, running boards, and fender-wells using ALL Stainless Steel bolts, washers, and SS Nylock Nuts.

I found a rust-free cab at a farm in Alberta....so I completely stripped the cab, took a wire-wheel to it, and got her to basically bare metal. I primed and rubber-armor coated the ENTIRE CAB, inside and out. THERE IS NO RUST ON THIS TRUCK!!

We finished the truck off with a gloss-black paint job. There is a rubber-armor coat line, running the length of the truck (about 14 inches up from the bottom of the rocker-panels - before we painted of course).

I also installed some aluminum running boards on the truck (which actually look pretty good - amazingly enough).
The truck comes with a canopy, which is on the truck right now - It is a leak-free canopy, with a tinted-acrylic rear window. The canopy is also gloss-black (painted at the same time as the truck).

The truck comes with a Clarion CD player, New Sony 222 amp, new Sony 6x9's, and a New Kenwood 10" sub w/truckrider box.
Gold plated cables.

On a personal note: I have owned this truck for 4 years....During this time, I have logged exactly: 0 HOURS, and 0 MINUTES offroad time. This may seem completely insane to some of you.....and you would be right in thinking so. However......the truck was never in the right shape to be beating it off-road. I thus decided to fix it up first......well here I am 4 years later.....finally get it into fantastic shape, and I have to sell it for back to school......GO FIGURE!!

So basically, this truck is completely solid, ridiculously reliable...(4 years...never left me stranded once)....and not just your basic, barely runs reliable either.....this is great-shape, wants to go reliable. The truck looks hot, runs awesome (it better after the $$$ i've put into it), and needs somebody who will do one of two things to it:

1: Treat it extremely well, take it camping, fishing, tow your boat (has a trailer hitch), haul your goodies on the weekend.....OR

2: BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF IT OFFROAD, AND USE IT FOR IT'S INTENDED PURPOSE. LOL

Either way.......I would be pleased if it was purchased by somebody who appreciates GMC's, likes the style, and will take care of my baby for me.
